My map skills Paragraph

Something I found easy about basic map skills is the continents and ocean titles because I had already learned about the continents and the oceans so it was just  reminding me. I also thought that the titles part of it was easy because I thought of it as book titles and they are all at the top of the map so I always know where to look for them. Something that I struggled with the most about basic map skills was the coordinates because I kept mixing up latitude with longitude and would right down the wrong coordinates because I would get them confused. I also struggled with coordinates because it was hard to estimate where someplace is if it wasn’t on one of the lines of latitude or longitude. I think that basic map skills are necessary because without them people would not be able to locate places on the world or they could look at a map and not know where it was. Basic map skills also help you better understand geography because they can teach you how to read maps, find a certain location if you need to be somewhere and they can help you find somewhere on a map if you are lost.
